That’s what happened this week. Actually, I want to find a dark-colored short-sleeved shirt for my Dad, who was attending a wake earlier this week. But I had shirts all in the wrong spot, another victim of my state of mind this year, being too sick, in pain, or weak to really care where anything went. So this week’s project was to get this into a better shape.
First step is to organize the shirts by style: short-sleeved, t-shirt, printed t-shirt, and the long-sleeved shirts that get put elsewhere until the colder times, to save space.
My dad had a couple of hangers that can hold four pairs of pants. I’m trying them out. I probably should organize them by color or how often I choose them. Maybe I’ll do that at some point this week or after this is posted or something.

I later went and organized the shirts by color. Next time I need a black shirt I know right where it is. The printed t-shirts are usually organized by what’s on them.
Now I can find the shirt I want and the pants hangers take up less space. Although time will tell if the hangers are a pain or not, this was a needed project. Now if I can keep it this while recovering from the re-connection surgery or any other time I get sick or in a hurry and that’s one less problem I’ll have to deal with. I also need to see what fits me anymore and what is better suited for around-the-house wear, but that’s another project.
